In addition to having solid mechanical comprehension skills you are highly motivated, you work effectively with minimal supervision, you are reliable and you know how critical it is that you work safely at all times while ensuring that quality workmanship is achieved in all that you do.

 
Ward’s technical positions include the following:

  • Fire Protection Technicians,
  • Hydraulic Cylinder Service Technicians,
  • Hydraulic Pump/Motor Service Technicians,
  • Diesel/Gas Pump Technicians
  • Machinists,
  • Welder/Fabricators,
  • Industrial Electricians,
  • Automotive Mechanic/Technicians.

 
Ideally, you have completed the appropriate trade certification available through the Apprenticeship system in Canada or you are able to produce an equivalent qualification that can be confirmed. As all work at Ward’s is considered to be “Safety Sensitive” prospective candidates for employment must be prepared to submit to pre-employment Drug/Alcohol testing as a final step to having their employment confirmed. A valid driver’s license is also required of all field/technical employees.
